Go find the busiest coffee shop you can, buy the biggest drink you can handle and listen.

Listen to what people are talking about, listen to what is ailing them, listen to what they are working on.

Note: Don’t steal their ideas or do anything illegal or stalkerish.

If that’s too “out there” for you, go sign up for a new course or program you have never done before.

  • Glassblowing
  • Archery
  • Drawing
  • Skeetball
  • Needlepoint
  • Cooking

Whatever that takes you out of your element and forces you to learn a new set of skills that puts you back at ground zero.

Still not feeling it?

Go Volunteer for something – anything – new or old, but put yourself into the position where you are helping someone else and getting nothing in return.

I guarantee your point of view, your worldview, your thoughts, your appreciation, your reflection, your awareness will change so much that you’ll be brimming with new ideas.

And all it took was your time.
