What’s the simplest productivity tool you need to be effective?

For me it’s a yello Notepad and a black pen.

I can sit at a chair and write out ideas, architectures, apps, articles for hours – scribbling down thoughts, scratching them out, crumpling them up and starting all over again.

It’s a cathartic release that I don’t get from typing into a word doc or scribbling on a tablet.

And it’s the simplest, cheapest form of productivity that I have that ships with no excuses for not being able to try something new.
