If you want to be seen as the developer that “knows it all” you better work hard to make sure you do (an impossible task).
Or, if it’s something much smaller as – “yes I’m really busy and do have not to time for other tasks” – then you better be really busy.
The statements we make are descriptions of what we are going through and what we are doing but the actions we take, are the signals we send to those we work with.
Don’t let the two conflict with one another.
