I never put “Focus Time” into my calendar but it’s now such a thing that we see it all the time in everyone’s calendar.
I’ve done this a few times myself just to get work done – it feels wrong to schedule something that I used to feel was so completely spontaneous and now the work that I love has to be scheduled to complete.
I’m trying to figure out how to reverse the trend of having status meetings on status meetings and the only answer I can come to – is to just lessen the meetings.
But how do we do that? Where is the breakdown where we require so many meetings now?
