Any job has a stressful component to its delivery. No job is perfectly stress free (sorry) and some are much more than others.
Yes, pizza lunches don’t solve the bigger problem, but when bought from your manager’s pocket for the benefit of their team – yes, it is worthwhile and can be appreciated as they try to do something with all that they have available to them.
Perhaps it won’t solve all the problems, but maybe it will provide a few hours of levity, laughs, and overall silliness as everyone bonds toward making things better with what they have.
