Do you even know?
Do you have expectations on how everyone should behave and act in what they are doing?
Do you know what your role is going into your next meeting?
If you don’t have expectations of yourself, you cannot have expectations of others, start simple.
- Be Ready – Arrive on time, mic/speaker, all audio working.
- Know your role – Am I giving an update? Keep it short and simple. Am I going to be called upon? Know the material.
- What are you there for – Is there a problem you’re trying to solve? Is it a status update?
Start there and set the tone.
