Careers are exactly like video games.

You start off not knowing what to do so you plod along and stuff “happens”.

Then you figure out you want to get better at something, perhaps even “specialize”.

So you get good at that thing, invest in yourself, get the tools and you become better at what you do.

Then like anything, you get to the point where you need to learn the tips and tricks and master the controls to get farther – what works where, when to apply what to what, etc, etc.

Maybe you get to the point where you need a squad and you work with them to all level up in tandem as a team – or even working together to accomplish a goal.

The only difference, you get way more restarts in video games than in your career – but you do get restarts.
