Things are great when everything is going your way.

When the weather is what you want.

When your morning beverage has the right of everything in it with nothing to spare.

When your code compiles the first time, it does what it’s supposed to do.

Pretty much everything and anything you’re doing, is rocking and rolling your way.

These are great days – When things Go our Way – and we are happy for them.

But there will be days when the world doesn’t go your way, no one agrees with you, your day is filled with arguments and confusion and you wonder “Why bother at all?”.

My only answer to this is that sometimes you don’t know if it’s going your way, and sometimes you can’t see the piece and pictures falling into place – because sometimes (many?), those days are going to be the days that lead to things going your way.

But you need to stay the course and not throw it all out – the goal is have everything Go Your Way – but the work to get there, never ends.
