How often did you hear this growing up?
“Sit up or you’ll be a slouch forever!”
When was the last time someone said it to you?
Did they finally give up on you?
Did it ever resonate with you or do you still slouch?
Is it one of those things that never caught on?
I’m not the best at Sitting Up and often find myself, reminding myself to do it or seeing someone else slouching and thinking “Wow is that me”.
Was there a better way to get me SitUp growing up?
Was there another way to instill this habit within me?
It’s the same as telling someone to “write faster” – Do they know how to write faster? Do they know what it takes to write faster? Or will simply telling them to go “faster” make it work for them?
If the habit isn’t being instilled perhaps there’s a different approach to be taken to make it stick that you haven’t tried yet.
