Everyone needs a sidekick – just look at Batman, he’s got one, and it’s been working out great for him (depends on who you ask). You need a partner, a buddy, someone to help you in all that you do. Find your sidekick, become a sidekick – it doesn’t matter what role you play. It will work out either way, and it will always be great.

Every time you try something, you will get better. You will raise your plateau, whether heavy or small, and you will get there. But only if you practice. Only if you show up every time, and push your self in your practice. No one can do it for you, only you can.

Fall down, get up, play again. That is where your success comes from, the ability to play again. If you don’t play it again, if you don’t take another shot, well, then you’re just waiting for someone else to do it. And where’s the fun in that?

The “Race to the Bottom” is over; it’s not even being considered anymore. Now it’s a race to the top, who can get there the fastest, that’s all that matters now, is speed. That is the race we are in, and the most that everyone cares about. But this is where you run your own race, this is where you choose to flip the script and offer value, quality, and yes, a little speed over what everyone else is doing. There is still a race to be run, and the question is whether you’re willing to take that first step.
