Before work. The library. Udemy (Coursera). After work. A Starbucks (Tim Hortons). A school. A Coop work place. Lunch at work. YouTube. Microsoft Learn. Salesforce Trailhead. Podcasts. LinkedIn. etc. All for under $25. There are plenty of places to learn, and I didn’t even mention the Universities that offer content for free – but it takes time. And that’s what holds everyone back from learning.

I think running is one of the greatest things we can do. With very little instruction, we can propel our body forward – jumping, leaping, and running. There will be injuries and obstacles that will slow us down to a jog or maybe even age itself. But don’t stop. Always keep going. Always keep running.

The side stitch is a sharp pain in your abdomen that generally pops up when you’re running. And it hurts. And the best way I have found to resolve it (and keep running) is to slow down but keep going. That period when you slow down is tough, especially if you’re in a race, because all you want to be doing is moving forward faster, and you can’t, you need to accept the slower pace. And then, if you’ve done that, it goes away, and you can speed up again. Everything is fast-paced right now, but it doesn’t mean it’s

I’ve spent the last few weeks wriggling through code riddled with holes in it. Error Handling, who needs it. Logging, we’ll ask the user. Consistency, that’s for the weak. Stability, restart it. If you have holes in your code, plug them, don’t leave them for someone else to clean up.

Everyone needs a sidekick – just look at Batman, he’s got one, and it’s been working out great for him (depends on who you ask). You need a partner, a buddy, someone to help you in all that you do. Find your sidekick, become a sidekick – it doesn’t matter what role you play. It will work out either way, and it will always be great.
